ESPN表示，18岁的巴西后卫雷斯是布莱顿冬窗的转会目标，海鸥已经提交了2500万欧的报价。不过，帕尔梅拉斯表示，球队只会在世俱杯比赛后开始协商雷斯的转会。

想让帕尔梅拉斯改变立场的话，买家需要送上一份“埃斯特旺”级别的报价，也就是总价至少达到6150万欧。雷斯的合同还包含一条1亿欧元的解约金条款。除布莱顿外，阿森纳、皇马也在密切关注这名后防新星。

雷斯现年18岁，身高186cm，主要司职中卫，也可以客串右后卫，他的德转身价估值达到了1400万欧。截至目前，这名小将共代表帕尔梅拉斯一线队出场22次，打进2球。
