本赛季至今皇马踢了23场比赛，却遭遇到了27次伤病，这对于球队的影响十分巨大。

皇马本赛季没有受过伤的球员只有卢宁、弗兰-加西亚、吕迪格、巴尔韦德、莫德里奇、居勒尔和恩德里克。

《马卡报》也指出，密集的赛程把球员们推到了极限，也迫使球队需要在赛季中期做出一些改变，应对这样一个关键的节点。
